...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM MDT FRIDAY
FOR UNSEASONABLY WARM TEMPERATURES, GUSTY WINDS, AND LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 117 AND 118...

* AFFECTED AREA...Central and Eastern Lewis and Clark National
Forest Areas and Helena and Townsend Ranger Districts of the
Helena National Forest.

* WINDS...West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Up to 81.

* IMPACTS... Any fires that develop will spread rapidly.
Containment of any ongoing or new fires may be very difficult.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are
either occurring now, or will shortly.  A combination of strong
winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute
to extreme fire behavior.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in these
areas of this Red Flag Warning.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM SATURDAY TO 6 AM MDT
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Meagher County Valleys, Cascade County below 5000ft, and
Judith Basin County and Judith Gap.

* WHEN...From 6 PM Saturday to 6 AM MDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Gusty winds combined with
the wet and heavy nature of the snow could bring down tree
branches. Isolated power outages are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall amounts will vary drastically from
grassy surfaces to roadways, most notably at lower elevations, with
accumulations on non-grassy surfaces being confined mainly to
between the evening through late morning hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for the
