At 513 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bozeman, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Bozeman.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and southwest Montana.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heat will peak on today. While
temperatures will not be quite as hot Sunday, highs will still be
in the mid to upper 90s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

If you must spend time outdoors, wear lightweight and loose fitting
clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or
