...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM
3 AM WEDNESDAY TO MIDNIGHT MST WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...West winds 45 to 65 mph, with gusts up to 90 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and southwest Montana.

* WHEN...From 3 AM Wednesday to midnight MST Wednesday Night.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and
cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for
high profile vehicles. Damaging winds will blow down trees and
power lines. Power outages are expected. Travel will be very
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A dangerous high wind event is expected on
Wednesday. A long period of strong winds, combined with high wind
gusts will make for dangerous conditions on Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.

If possible, consider delaying travel during the period of highest
winds or finding an alternate route.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 PM
MST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and
10 inches  at Marias Pass with higher amounts over the mountains
in Glacier National Park. Winds could gust over 70 mph at times.

* WHERE...The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front.

* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 11 PM MST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to dangerous and tire
chains may be required for some vehicles. Visibility may drop
below 1/4 mile at times due to falling and blowing snow. Those in
the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for dangerous
conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can
be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road Report website.

Remember, a Winter Storm Warning means that there is at least an 80%
chance of impactful winter weather conditions during the warning
period.
