...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING TO MIDNIGHT MDT MONDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures of 100 to 113 expected, hottest Sunday. Some all time record highs are possible on Sunday. * WHERE...Portions of central, south central, and southeast Montana and north central Wyoming. * WHEN...From 6 AM this morning to midnight MDT Monday Night. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Extremely hot daytime temperatures combined with warm overnight low temperatures will produce cumulative heat stress. This heat stress will quickly become dangerous to anyone without adequate cooling and hydration. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, plan outdoor activities during the early morning and late evening hours, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
