...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of northeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Catahoula, Concordia, East Carroll, Franklin LA, Madison LA, Richland, Tensas and West Carroll and Mississippi, including the following areas, Adams, Claiborne, Clarke, Copiah, Covington, Forrest, Franklin MS, Hinds, Issaquena, Jasper, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Lincoln, Madison MS, Marion, Newton, Rankin, Scott, Sharkey, Simpson, Smith, Warren and Yazoo. * WHEN...Through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several inches of rain have fallen across the area this afternoon and evening with several rounds of convection that moved through. An additional inch of rain will be possible within the rain shield behind these storms tonight, and some additional rainfall will be possible during the afternoon tomorrow.
