For the Gale Warning, northwest winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 7 to 12 ft expected. For the second Small Craft Advisory, north winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and seas 7 to 10 ft expected. * WHERE...Portions of Gulf of America. * WHEN...For the first Small Craft Advisory, until 4 AM CDT. For the Gale Warning, from 4 AM to 7 PM CDT this evening. For the second Small Craft Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 7 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 27 possible. * WHERE...In Louisiana, Lower Tangipahoa, Southeast St. Tammany, Southern Livingston, and Southwestern St. Tammany Parishes. In Mississippi, Southern Hancock, Southern Harrison, and Southern Jackson Counties. * WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 4 AM early this morning to 7 PM CDT this evening. For the Freeze Watch, from this evening through Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
