- Another round of heavy rainfall is expected on Wednesday.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
with locally higher amounts around 3 inches which may cause
flash flooding, especially in urban and other poor drainage
areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Leaf near McLain.

* WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 18 feet, Considerable flooding of agricultural and
lowlands near the river.
At 24 feet, Some county roads in the area will become flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 17.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 21 feet early Thursday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday
morning.
- Flood stage is 18 feet.
