- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 5:45 PM CDT Monday was 16.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 22.6 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early
tomorrow afternoon to 12.6 feet early Wednesday morning. It
will rise to 14.0 feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall
again and remain below flood stage.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following
areas, Bourbon, Cherokee and Crawford and Missouri, including the
following areas, Barry, Barton, Benton, Camden, Cedar, Christian,
Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence,
McDonald, Newton, Ozark, Polk, St. Clair, Stone, Taney, Vernon,
Webster and Wright.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Another round of showers and thunderstorms expected tonight.
