...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING... ...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Barry, Christian, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton and Stone. * WHEN...Until 600 PM CST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 655 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings... North Indian Creek at Orchid Drive, Green Valley Creek at Holder RD, Wilson's Creek at Old Limey Road, Little Crane Creek at Old Wire Road, Flat Creek at Highway U, Flat Creek at Highway C and Shoal Creek at Farm Road 2110. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
