...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east central Missouri, including the following county, Saint Louis. * WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 153 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring along creeks and streams in the warned area, including Deer, Fee Fee, Yarnell, Glaize, and Williams Creeks. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Heavy rain has ended, and additional significant accumulations are not expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... St. Louis, St. Charles, Florissant, Chesterfield, Wildwood, University City, Ballwin, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights, Hazelwood, Webster Groves, Ferguson, Arnold, Manchester, Creve Coeur, Overland, Clayton, Jennings, St. Ann and Crestwood. ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following counties, northwestern Bond, eastern Calhoun, central Greene, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe, southwestern Montgomery and northwestern Saint Clair and Missouri, including the following counties and independent city, Crawford, southeastern Franklin, northwestern Iron, Jefferson, southeastern Lincoln, Saint Charles, Saint Francois, Saint Louis, Saint Louis City, northwestern Sainte Genevieve, southeastern Warren and Washington. * WHEN...Until 600 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1203 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
