...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following
counties, Christian, Douglas, Greene, Lawrence, Ozark, Stone,
Taney and Webster.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 115 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving
thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned
area. Between 1 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Branson, Monett, Aurora,
Marshfield, Battlefield, Mount Vernon, Ava, Strafford,
Forsyth, Highlandville, Willard, Hollister, Rogersville,
Marionville, Clever, Seymour, Merriam Woods, Sparta, Crane,
Fair Grove, Billings, Rockaway Beach, Fordland, Gainesville,
Verona, Niangua, Taneyville, Diggins, Bakersfield, Kissee
Mills, Fremont Hills, Bull Creek, Brookline, Table Rock,

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following
areas, Bourbon, Cherokee and Crawford and Missouri, including the
following areas, Barry, Barton, Benton, Camden, Cedar, Christian,
Dade, Dallas, Dent, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Howell, Jasper,
Laclede, Lawrence, Maries, McDonald, Miller, Morgan, Newton,
Oregon, Ozark, Phelps, Polk, Pulaski, Shannon, St. Clair, Stone,
Taney, Texas, Vernon, Webster and Wright.

* WHEN...Through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street
flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area
creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more
heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rounds of rainfall are expected into the day
Monday. Soils are saturated and rivers and streams are
running high, which increases the threat for flooding from
the additional rain.
