...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following county, Cherokee and Missouri, including the following counties, Barry, Christian, Douglas, Greene, Howell, Jasper, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Ozark, Stone, Taney, Texas, Webster and Wright. * WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A thunderstorm complex will move through this morning producing localized heavy rainfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour. Highest chances for flooding look to occur along the Missouri/Arkansas border.
