moving east at 25 mph.

to roofs, siding, and trees.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following
counties, Christian, Douglas, Greene, Ozark, Stone, Webster and
Wright.

* WHEN...Until midnight CDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 541 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen with some areas measuring from 1 to 1.5 inches in
as short as 15 minutes.
- This includes the following low water crossings...
Little Beaver Creek at County Road 447, Beaver Creek at
County Road 524, Fox Creek at County Road 246, James River at
Bell Ford Road, Finley River at Johns Ford Road, Bryant Creek
at County Road 223 and Bull Creek at Center Road.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Southern Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Battlefield, Ava,
Highlandville, Rogersville, Seymour, Sparta, Mansfield,
Fordland, Diggins, Fremont Hills, Duncan, Spokane, Dogwood,

moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Republic, Ash Grove, Billings, Brookline, Halltown, Chesapeake, and
Bois D'arc.

At 518 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southeast
of Ava, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Ozark, Branson, Lake Taneycomo, Bull Shoals Lake, Table Rock Lake,
Table Rock State Park, Shepherd of the Hills State Park, Hollister,
Silver Dollar City, Ava, Kimberling City, Forsyth, Merriam Woods,
Sparta, Kissee Mills, Reeds Spring, Highlandville, Rockaway Beach,
Bull Creek, and Indian Point.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near Table Rock Lake or Bull Shoals Lake, get away from the
water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can
strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to
safe shelter now!  Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
