- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 25.4 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

* WHEN...From this evening to Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Bottomland 1 to 2 miles south of the gage
begins to flood. At 26.0 feet, Rural land adjacent to the river is
flooded. At 28.0 feet, Rural roads are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 10.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this evening to a crest of 33.1 feet tomorrow evening. It will
then fall below flood stage late Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

- At 909 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated scattered showers and
thunderstorms continuing to move eastward across the region.
Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned
area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
warned area. This warning replaces the flood advisory that
expires at 915 am.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kirksville, Chillicothe, Macon, Brookfield, Marceline, Milan, La
Plata, Bevier, Green City, Queen City, Bucklin, Meadville,
Novinger, Greentop, Atlanta, Laclede, Downing, Callao and
Linneus.
