...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN BUCHANAN...NORTHWESTERN CLINTON...SOUTHEASTERN ANDREW AND DEKALB COUNTIES THROUGH 430 AM CDT... At 340 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles east of Country Club Villa to near Agency. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... St. Joseph, Maysville, Stewartsville, Agency, Osborn, Clarksdale, Easton, Cosby, Amity, Fairport, and Helena. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
