...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Barry and Lawrence. * WHEN...Until 300 PM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 858 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Monett, Aurora, Cassville, Marionville, Pierce City, Purdy, Seligman, Exeter, Wheaton, Verona, Washburn, Shell Knob, Butterfield, Golden, Emerald Beach, Eagle Rock, Pioneer, Freistatt, Chain-O-Lakes, Arrow Point, Mcdowell, Pleasant Ridge, Jenkins, Madry, Wayne, Ridgley, Wheelerville, Table Rock Lake and Roaring River State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
