...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT FRIDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Atchison, Doniphan, Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, and Wyandotte, and portions of Missouri, including the following areas, Buchanan, Caldwell, Carroll, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Jackson, Lafayette, Linn, Livingston, Platte, and Ray. * WHEN...Until 3 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms have developed in northeast Kansas and west- central and central Missouri this evening. Given a very moist environment, the strongest storms may produce excessive rainfall rates, leading to localized flash flooding.
