...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT MONDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occuring from heavy rainfall that occurred last night into this morning. The river gauge at Tavern Creek at St. Elizabeth is in moderate flood stage. * WHERE...A portion of central Missouri, including the following county, Miller. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 643 PM CDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 4 and 9 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings... Saline Creek at Square Line Road, Atwell Creek at Highway K, Weimer Creek at White School Road and Brumley Creek at Warren School Road. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Osage Beach, Iberia, St. Elizabeth, Tuscumbia, Brumley, Ulman, Marys Home, Kaiser, Lake of The Ozarks and Lake of The Ozarks State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
