...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Atchison KS, Doniphan, Johnson KS, Leavenworth, Linn KS, Miami and Wyandotte and Missouri, including the following areas, Andrew, Atchison MO, Bates, Buchanan, Caldwell, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, De Kalb, Gentry, Harrison, Henry, Holt, Jackson, Johnson MO, Lafayette, Nodaway, Platte, Ray and Worth. * WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Though storms are weakening as they approach the area this morning, the strongest storms are still capable of producing torrential rainfall in a short amount of time.
