* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon to late Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, Flood waters reach the second window level
of the restrooms at the James River Outfitter Canoe Park area.

- At 7:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 6.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 17.5 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday
morning.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Approximate level when Hootentown Access
and Campground downstream of the gage floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 3.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 14.0 feet tomorrow
morning. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow
evening.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following
areas, Bourbon, Cherokee and Crawford and Missouri, including the
following areas, Barry, Barton, Benton, Cedar, Christian, Dade,
Greene, Hickory, Jasper, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Polk, St.
Clair, Stone and Vernon.

* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded. Area creeks and streams are running high
and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Widespread 2 to 4 inches of rain with locally higher amounts.
