...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT TO SUNDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at St. Louis.

* WHEN...From late Wednesday night to Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Floodwall at Lacledes Landing is closed.
Also at this level, the U.S. Coast Guard may prohibit all
recreational vessel traffic from just above the Chain of Rocks
Canal south entry to just below the mouth of the Meramec River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 25.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
Thursday morning to a crest of 31.0 feet early Friday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage late Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

* WHERE...Meramec River near Arnold.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Meramec Bottom Road between Wells Road and
Kerth Road begins flooding near this height.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 23.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 29.1 feet Friday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
