* WHERE...Meramec River near Arnold.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Wells Road below Suson Woods begins
flooding at this height.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 25.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 11:30 AM CDT Wednesday was 25.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.7 feet
Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday
morning.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at St. Louis.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning to Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Floodwall at Lacledes Landing is closed.
Also at this level, the U.S. Coast Guard may prohibit all
recreational vessel traffic from just above the Chain of Rocks
Canal south entry to just below the mouth of the Meramec River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 27.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tomorrow morning to a crest of 30.7 feet early Friday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
