...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Johnson KS, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte and Missouri, including the following areas, Caldwell, Carroll, Cass, Chariton, Clay, Clinton, Cooper, Howard, Jackson, Johnson MO, Lafayette, Linn MO, Livingston, Macon, Pettis, Platte, Randolph, Ray and Saline. * WHEN...Through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms capable of producing very heavy rainfall are expected to develop Thursday afternoon and evening, and continue into the overnight hours.
