* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following
areas, Bourbon, Cherokee and Crawford and Missouri, including the
following areas, Barry, Barton, Benton, Camden, Cedar, Christian,
Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence,
McDonald, Newton, Ozark, Polk, St. Clair, Stone, Taney, Vernon,
Webster and Wright.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Another round of showers and thunderstorms expected tonight.
Rainfall amounts of around 1 inch are expected with localized
3 inch amounts possible.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following
counties, Barry, Christian, Douglas, Greene, Stone, Taney and
Webster.

* WHEN...Until 100 AM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 120 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
already occurring in the warned area.
- This includes the following low water crossings...
Wilson's Creek at Old Limey Road, Little Beaver Creek at
County Road 447, Bull Creek at Center Road, Little Beaver
Creek at Old Cheese Plant Road, Finley River at Johns Ford
Road, Bear Creek at Reno Springs Road and Swan Creek at Swan
Cave Road.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Branson, Battlefield,
Kimberling City, Forsyth, Highlandville, Hollister,
Rogersville, Silver Dollar City, Clever, Merriam Woods,
Sparta, Crane, Billings, Reeds Spring, Seligman, Rockaway
Beach, Fordland, Indian Point, Branson West, Galena,
Washburn, Taneyville, Diggins, Shell Knob, Kissee Mills,
Fremont Hills, Bull Creek, Brookline, Mccord Bend, Golden,
Table Rock, Emerald Beach, Kirbyville, Eagle Rock, Hurley and
Spokane.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
