...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Missouri,
including the following counties, in south central Missouri,
Howell, Oregon, Shannon and Texas. In southwest Missouri, Douglas.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1038 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen.
- This includes the following low water crossings...
South Fork Jacks Fork River at Stillhouse Road, North Prong
Jacks Fork at Arroll Road, Big Piney River at Cleveland Road,
Gill Branch at Highway Y, Little Piney River at Union Road,
North Fork River at Highway EE and Eleven Point River at
County Road 1550.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mountain View, Willow Springs, Cabool, Birch Tree, Huggins,
Montier, Clear Springs, Elk Creek, Solo, Arroll, Simmons,
Pine Crest, Teresita, Bendavis and Ozark National Scenic
Riverways.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

county, Cherokee and Missouri, including the following counties,
Barry, Christian, Dent, Douglas, Greene, Howell, Jasper, Lawrence,
McDonald, Newton, Oregon, Ozark, Shannon, Stone, Taney, Texas,
Webster and Wright.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches, with localized
higher amounts.
