roads in the Grand River floodplain flood.

- At 4:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 24.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early this
morning to 25.2 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood
stage this morning to 24.0 feet this afternoon. It will rise
above flood stage again this evening to 29.6 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage again Wednesday
morning.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Missouri, including
the following areas, in north central Missouri, Daviess, Grundy,
Harrison, Linn MO, Livingston, Mercer, Putnam and Sullivan. In
northwest Missouri, Andrew, Atchison MO, De Kalb, Gentry, Holt,
Nodaway and Worth.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and
flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams
are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Periods of heavy rainfall are likely Monday morning and again
late Monday night into early Tuesday morning.
