...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING TO THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Jefferson City.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening to Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 26.3 feet, State Route 179 near Sandy Hook is closed
due to flooding.  Also, State Highway K one mile east of McBaine in
Boone County is closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Sunday
evening to a crest of 25.8 feet early Tuesday morning. It will
then fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING TO WEDNESDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Boonville.

* WHEN...From Saturday evening to Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Low-lying rural areas along the river
flood. At 23.8 feet, Easley River Road and Smith Hatchery Road
begin to flood. At 25.0 feet, Numerous farm levees are overtopped.
Flooding of agricultural land and secondary roads occurs. Backwater
flooding on Perche Creek causes flooding in McBaine.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:04 AM CDT Friday the stage was 13.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 27.2 feet early Monday afternoon.
It will then fall below flood stage late Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
