Low temperatures tonight and Saturday night will remain in the mid 70s to lower 80s, providing little relief from the heat. * WHERE...Renville, Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Martin, Nicollet, Watonwan, Redwood, Chippewa, Lac Qui Parle, and Yellow Medicine Counties. * WHEN...Until 9 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. Take extra precautions when outside. It will then rise to 20.8 feet Monday evening. It will fall to 20.5 feet Wednesday morning. It will then rise to 20.8 feet Friday, June 27.
