...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ACROSS NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA... Relative humidity values will drop to 25 to 35 percent along with southeast winds 15 to 25 mph, gusting as high as 35 mph. Strongest winds will tend to be in the Red River Valley. Given the dry fuels, near critical fire weather conditions are expected for the afternoon and early evening hours. Any fire that does develop has the potential to quickly spread.
