Winds gusting as high as 70 mph. * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota. * WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening. * IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on slippery road conditions. Ground blizzards create whiteout conditions that make travel extremely dangerous or impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening commute.
