...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Runoff due to heavy rain will cause urban flooding, ponding of water in roadways is likely due to additional rainfall. * WHERE...A portion of east central Minnesota, including the following counties, southeastern Anoka, northeastern Carver, northwestern Dakota, Northeast Hennepin, West Hennepin, Central Hennepin, East Hennepin, and South Hennepin, Ramsey, northeastern Scott and southwestern Washington. * WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of streams, roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations will increase as additional rain arrives. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 302 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
