Brief periods of heavy snow and blowing snow will affect
northwest Minnesota and parts the Red River Valley. These
conditions are associated with multiple areas of heavy snow moving
across the region. Persons and vehicles across this area can
expect conditions to suddenly deteriorate to extremely poor
visibility for brief periods of time. These conditions will
continue through 3 am. Rapid changes in visibility and difficult
travel conditions may lead to accidents. If you are traveling in
these conditions, reduce your speed and turn on headlights. Don't
slam on brakes.
