...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND HOT TEMPERATURES FOR AREAS NORTH OF THE IRON RANGE IN FAR NORTHERN MINNESOTA... The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a Fire Weather Watch for breezy southerly winds, low relative humidity and hot temperatures, which is in effect from Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...In Minnesota, Koochiching, North St. Louis and North Itasca. * WINDS...Southeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 25 percent. * IMPACTS...The rapid spread of any fires may occur due to the forecast weather conditions and still-dry fuels per guidance from local land management agencies.
