Temperatures around 32 possible along the shorelines. * WHERE...In Minnesota, Carlton and South St. Louis, Southern Cook and Southern Lake Counties. In Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, and Iron Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation, the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the Fond du Lac Band, the Red Cliff Band and the Bad River Reservation. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island. * WHEN...From Tuesday late evening through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The coldest temperatures are possible a few miles away from the Lake Superior shorelines where temperatures are expected to remain in the low to mid-30s.
