...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations
between 4 and 6 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze.
Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...South Aitkin and Carlton and South St. Louis Counties.
This includes the Tribal Lands of the Mille Lacs Band, East Lake
area and the Fond du Lac Band.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Expect visibility less
than 1/4 mile at times and snow covered and slippery roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The majority of ice accumulations will be
Friday evening and Friday night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, east winds 15 to 25 kt
with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 4 to 7 ft. For the Gale
Warning, east winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and
waves 7 to 10 ft expected.

* WHERE...Duluth MN to Port Wing WI and Port Wing to Sand Island
WI.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 1 AM CDT Saturday.
For the Gale Warning, from 1 AM to 10 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
