Total snow accumulations between 4 and 7 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northwest, and west central Minnesota. * WHEN...From 6 AM CST Sunday through late Sunday night. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Falling and blowing snow, frequently reducing visibility below a half mile, may make travel dangerous, especially in open country. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation. Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
