* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Minnesota, including the following areas,
Anoka, Blue Earth, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Faribault, Freeborn,
Goodhue, Hennepin, Le Sueur, Nicollet, Ramsey, Rice, Scott,
Sibley, Steele, Waseca and Washington and Wisconsin, including the
following areas, Barron, Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pepin,
Pierce, Polk, Rusk and St. Croix.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Runoff due to heavy rain will cause urban flooding, ponding
of water in roadways is likely due to additional rainfall.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Minnesota, including the
following counties, southeastern Anoka, northeastern Carver,
northwestern Dakota, Northeast Hennepin, West Hennepin, Central
Hennepin, East Hennepin, and South Hennepin, Ramsey, northeastern
Scott and southwestern Washington.

* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of streams, roadways, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations will increase as additional rain arrives.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 302 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are likely in
the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Brooklyn Park, Plymouth,
Eagan, Woodbury, Maple Grove, Coon Rapids, Eden Prairie,
Burnsville, Blaine, Minnetonka, Apple Valley, Edina, St.
Louis Park, Maplewood, Shakopee, Richfield and Cottage Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
