This includes the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation. * WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 3 AM CST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strong winds will be from the northwest which will result in strong crosswinds along MN-61 and portions of MN-1. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. &&

For the Gale Warning, west winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and waves 2 to 5 ft expected. * WHERE...Taconite Harbor to Silver Bay Harbor MN, Silver Bay Harbor to Two Harbors MN, Two Harbors to Duluth MN and Duluth MN to Port Wing WI. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 PM CST this evening. For the Gale Warning, from 6 PM this evening to midnight CST tonight. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional gales are expected Wednesday evening into Thursday. There is a 30 percent chance of storm- force wind gusts to 50 knots Thursday afternoon and evening along the North Shore. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
