The Flood Watch will expire for portions of Iowa, including the
following areas, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell and
Winneshiek, southeast Minnesota, including the following areas,
Fillmore, Houston and Mower, and southwest Wisconsin, including the
following areas, Crawford, Richland and Vernon.

The flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flood Watch will expire
at 7 PM CDT this evening.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Fillmore County in southeastern Minnesota...
Mower County in southeastern Minnesota...
Southern Olmsted County in southeastern Minnesota...

* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 337 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported ongoing flooding
across the warned area due to 4 to 8 inches of rainfall that
occurred overnight. Multiple roadways across the region are
closed.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Austin, Preston, Stewartville, Chatfield, Spring Valley,
Rushford, Grand Meadow, Harmony, Mabel, Lanesboro, Brownsdale,
Wykoff, Fountain, Canton, High Forest, Lansing, Rushford Village,
Pleasant Grove, Washington and Highland.

- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this afternoon to a crest of 19.5 feet just after midnight
