* WHAT...For the Storm Warning, northeast becoming northerly
winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 50 kt and waves 5 to 8 ft
expected. For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, heavy freezing
spray at a rate of 2 cm per hour or greater expected, and may
rapidly accumulate on vessels.

* WHERE...Green Bay North of line from Cedar River MI to Rock
Island Passage.

* WHEN...For the Storm Warning, from 1 AM Monday to 1 AM EST
Tuesday. For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, from 2 PM
Monday to 5 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is
hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic
components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and
superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of
stability. Storm force winds and hazardous waves will capsize
or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should prepare for dangerous accumulation of ice on
their vessel. If possible, remain in port, avoid the warning area
or conduct mitigation.

Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.

Blizzard Warning
Issued: 8:01 PM Dec. 27, 2025 – National Weather Service
...BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM SUNDAY TO 7 PM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. A light glaze of ice possible
Sunday morning before changing to heavy snow Sunday evening. Total
snow accumulations between 9 and 16 inches, highest north. Winds
gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Delta, Northern Schoolcraft, and Southern Schoolcraft
Counties.

* WHEN...From 10 PM Sunday to 7 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may
down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel
will be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow will
significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will
impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could
bring down tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle.
