LIVINGSTON...GENESEE...LAPEER...MACOMB...AND OAKLAND COUNTIES...

HAZARDS...An area of heavy snow accompanied by winds of up to 30to
40 MPH which can rapidly reduce visibility to less than one mile.

LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 905 AM EST, an area of heavy snow was
along a line extending from near Hadley to near Grand Blanc to
Bancroft and moving east at 30 MPH.

THIS AREA OF HEAVY SNOW WILL BE NEAR...
Flint, Lapeer, Grand Blanc, Durand, Burton, Hadley, Goodrich,
Byron, Bancroft, and Gaines around 910 AM EST.
Linden and Metamora around 915 AM EST.
Fenton and Ortonville around 920 AM EST.
Holly and Dryden around 925 AM EST.
Oxford and Almont around 935 AM EST.
Clarkston around 950 AM EST.

This includes the following highways...
I-75 between mile markers 82 and 126.
I-475 between mile markers 1 and 16.
I-69 between mile markers 110 and 166.
US-23 between mile markers 64 and 90.

...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Southwest to west winds 25 to 35 MPH with frequent gusts 45
to 55 MPH. A few gusts to 60 MPH are expected.

* WHERE...All of southeast Michigan.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down tree limbs and power
lines. Scattered power outages are expected. Travel will be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow and blowing snow today will worsen the
travel conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
