* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, northeast becoming northerly
winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and waves 13 to 18 ft
expected. For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, heavy freezing
spray at a rate of 2 cm per hour or greater expected, and may
rapidly accumulate on vessels.

* WHERE...Saxon Harbor WI to Black River MI and Black River to
Ontonagon MI.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, from 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ Sunday
to 10 PM EST /9 PM CST/ Monday. For the Heavy Freezing Spray
Warning, from 1 AM EST /midnight CST/ Monday to 7 AM EST /6 AM
CST/ Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is
hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic
components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and
superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of
stability. Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should prepare for dangerous accumulation of ice on
their vessel. If possible, remain in port, avoid the warning area
or conduct mitigation.

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.

* IMPACTS...Some water on low lying roads and property along the
lakeshore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Residents on or near the shore should take appropriate action to
protect property from rising water levels.

...BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM EST /3 PM CST/ SUNDAY TO 4
PM EST /3 PM CST/ MONDAY...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations
between 12 and 16 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Gogebic and Ontonagon Counties.

* WHEN...From 4 PM EST /3 PM CST/ Sunday to 4 PM EST /3 PM CST/
Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread
blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds
could bring down tree branches and result in power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle.
