...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE
THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...All of southeast Michigan.

* WHEN...From 8 PM EDT this evening through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be
flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- In the last 10 days, most of southeastern Michigan has seen
1.5 to 4.5 inches of rainfall which has saturated soils
before the main spring green up. Several rounds of showers
and thunderstorms are likely starting this evening and
continuing through Thursday evening. Over this span of time,
an additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall are expected with 3
to 4 inches possible in some areas dependent on thunderstorm
coverage and tracks.
