...EXTREME COLD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Dangerously cold air temperatures as low as 25 to 30 below
zero in some interior northern lower Michigan communities. Air
temperatures in lakeshore communities likely reach 0 to 15 below.
Dangerously cold wind chills of 20 to 30 below zero possible along
the lakeshores. Wind chills may drop as low as 35 to 40 below
across the coldest areas of interior northern lower Michigan.

* WHERE...All of Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 35 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.
