...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Rainfall totals of over 1 inch are expected, with some areas of
over 2 inches of rainfall possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central Upper and western Upper Michigan,
including the following areas, in central Upper Michigan, Baraga.
In western Upper Michigan, Gogebic, Keweenaw, Northern Houghton,
Ontonagon and Southern Houghton.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rainfall this morning in extreme northeastern Ontonagon
County, northern Baraga and Houghton counties, and Keweenaw
County will make those areas more sensitive to flash flooding
in the event of heavy rainfall.
