For the Small Craft Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 25 kt and waves 5 to 8 ft occurring. * WHERE...Marquette to Munising MI and Munising to Grand Marais MI. * WHEN...For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, until 7 AM EST Thursday. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 7 PM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of stability. Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should prepare for dangerous accumulation of ice on their vessel. If possible, remain in port, avoid the warning area or conduct mitigation. Additional snow accumulations up to 9 inches, mainly north of M-28 and from Munising eastward. * WHERE...Alger and Northern Schoolcraft Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The areas of blowing snow will sharply reduce visibilities. The hazardous conditions will impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
