* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, west winds 10 to 20 kt with
gusts up to 25 kt and waves 3 to 6 ft occurring. For the Gale
Watch, southwest winds becoming northwest winds 20 to 30 kt
with gusts up to 40 kt and waves 9 to 14 ft possible.

* WHERE...Munising to Grand Marais MI and Grand Marais to
Whitefish Point MI.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 1 AM EST Tuesday.
For the Gale Watch, from Tuesday morning through Wednesday
morning.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.
