...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 AM EDT EARLY THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following
counties, Livingston, Macomb and Oakland.

* WHEN...Until 430 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 224 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding. Trained spotters have reported ponding on roadways
and minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Warren, Troy, Southfield, St. Clair Shores, Pontiac, Novi,
Mount Clemens, Hartland, New Baltimore, Fenton, Howell,
Brighton, Milford, Holly, Richmond, Romeo, Oxford,
Fowlerville, Pinckney and Sterling Heights.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following
areas, Bay, Genesee, Huron, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb,
Midland, Monroe, Oakland, Saginaw, Sanilac, Shiawassee, St. Clair,
Tuscola, Washtenaw and Wayne.

* WHEN...Through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be
flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- In the last 10 days, most of southeastern Michigan has seen
1.5 to 4.5 inches of rainfall which has saturated soils
before the main spring green up. Several rounds of showers
and thunderstorms are likely tonight and continuing through
Thursday evening. Over this span of time, an additional 1 to
2 inches of rainfall are expected with 3 to 4 inches possible
in some areas dependent on thunderstorm coverage and tracks.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
