The largest significant waves will be 12 feet with a potential maximum wave height of 17 feet. * WHERE...Portions of Lake Huron. * WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 8 PM EDT Friday with the largest waves expected around 2 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Low to medium confidence in a period of storm force gusts between 4 PM and 9 PM today. Highest gusts are expected along the shoreline. A short fused upgrade to a Storm Warning is possible as observations warrant. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
