WEATHER...

* Area of moderate snow will impact the southern half of
southeastern Michigan through the rest of the morning.

* Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected in areas
impacted between 9AM and 1PM.

* Northeast winds around 10 mph with gusts to 20 mph.

* Air temperatures will rise from single digits to lower teens by
early afternoon.

IMPACTS...

* Accumulating snow will lead to slippery roads particularly on
bridges, exit ramps and overpasses.

* Moderate snow will cause reductions of visibility to less than
one mile with heaviest snow capable of visibilities under a
quarter of a mile. There may be rapid fluctuations of
visibility.

* The combination of moderate snow and cold temperatures will;
result in slippery conditions and variable traffic rates;
